Arsenal set to buy two players from title-winning Man City team

Arsenal are considering a double swoop of Manchester City stars this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

Gunners boss, Mikel Arteta, wants to add Oleksandr Zinchenko to their list of potential summer targets.

Arteta already wants to sign striker Gabriel Jesus from his former employers.

Zinchenko, 25, is viewed primarily as an asset to bolster Arsenal’s midfield, who could be utilised at left back when required.

The player has spent much of his time under Pep Guardiola in defence, but has operated in central midfield for Ukraine.

During his spell as Guardiola’s assistant, Arteta enjoyed a good relationship with both Zinchenko and Jesus.

Last week’s dramatic final day triumph meant the pair have now won four Premier League titles while at the Etihad Stadium.

However, City will not stand in the way of players who want to leave, as long as the terms of a deal are acceptable to the club.
