Gabriel Jesus breaks silence on summer transfer after Arsenal open talks with Man City
Gabriel Jesus has already told Manchester City 'what he wants' as he continues to be linked with a move to Arsenal.
The Gunners have been in contact with Pep Guardiola's side over a potential deal for the Brazilian with City slapping a £55million price tag on the striker, according to ESPN.
It's claimed the north Londoners feel that price is too steep, however, as they could feasibly sign him as a free agent in 12 months' time with his contract expiring in the summer of 2023.
Jesus is a player that Mikel Arteta is a huge admirer of following their spell working together at the Etihad. It has been widely reported that City are looking to cash in on Jesus given the fact his contract is winding down, coupled with the signing of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
Jesus is said to be keen on a switch to the Emirates as his agent Marcelo Pettinati confirmed that he likes Mikel Arteta's project. The attacker is assessing his options due to his limited game-time this season, which is likely to be hindered even further with the arrival of Haaland.
