Jesse Lingard’s time at Manchester United has come to an end after over 20 years with the academy graduate penning an emotional message on social media after his exit was confirmed Jesse Lingard admit he’s been “emotional” about leaving Manchester United after his exit from Old Trafford was confirmed. The midfielder had spent over two decades at the Red Devils, rising up through the club’s academy before becoming a regular first team star. Opportunities have been harder to come by in recent seasons and Lingard made the decision to snub a contract offer at the start of the campaign.
