Manchester United and Erik ten Hag stance on potential Nottingham Forest transfer revealed

Image
After promotion celebrations die down, Nottingham Forest’s attention will return to preparing for the Premier League next season. Steve Cooper’s men earned their place among England’s elite with a victory in the play-off final against Huddersfield Town this weekend (May 29). An own goal from Levi Colwill was enough to separate the two teams and start the party in the Nottingham end of Wembley Stadium. Forest midfielder James Garner played a big part in the winning goal, putting the ball into the box that caused the defender to put it into his own net. The 21-year-old has been on loan with the club from Manchester United for the last 18 months.

Manchester United joined by Aston Villa in race for transfer Bayern Munich want

Image
Aston Villa have made an impressive start to the summer transfer window having already signed three players before the end of this month. The club turned Philippe Coutinho's loan move into a permanent transfer while Boubacar Kamara was signed on a free and Brazilian Diego Carlos swapped Sevilla for Villa last week. And reports claim that head coach Steven Gerrard wants to continue adding quality to his squad ahead of a crucial 2022/23 campaign. Villa begin their pre-season preparations later this summer and Gerrard wants the bulk of the club's new arrivals to be signed before the club jets off to Australia in July. The Athletic claim that Villa will aim to add five outfield players to Gerrard's squad before the window shuts following the arrivals of Coutinho, Kamara and Diego Carlos.

Image
In recent days, Manchester City have seen two of their players tied with transfer speculation to Premier League rivals Arsenal, with both Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko rumoured to be on the recruitment shortlist at the Emirates Stadium. While there has been nothing in the way of official or formal bids made to Manchester City for either of the aforementioned players, fresh activity from the latter has perhaps offered a significant hint as to where his future could lie. Oleksandr Zinchenko's recent Instagram activity has been highlighted on social media on Monday, after the Manchester City defender 'liked' a post aggregating information linking the player with an exit from the club - but not to Arsenal.

Arsenal set to buy two players from title-winning Man City team

Image
Arsenal are considering a double swoop of Manchester City stars this summer, according to the Daily Mail. Gunners boss, Mikel Arteta, wants to add Oleksandr Zinchenko to their list of potential summer targets. Arteta already wants to sign striker Gabriel Jesus from his former employers. Zinchenko, 25, is viewed primarily as an asset to bolster Arsenal’s midfield, who could be utilised at left back when required. The player has spent much of his time under Pep Guardiola in defence, but has operated in central midfield for Ukraine. During his spell as Guardiola’s assistant, Arteta enjoyed a good relationship with both Zinchenko and Jesus. Last week’s dramatic final day triumph meant the pair have now won four Premier League titles while at the Etihad Stadium. However, City will not stand in the way of players who want to leave, as long as the terms of a deal are acceptable to the club.

Cristiano Ronaldo transfer wish granted by Man Utd with Erik ten Hag plan

Image
Cristiano Ronaldo appears to have had his transfer wish granted by Manchester United with the plan of incoming boss Erik ten Hag. United confirmed the appointment of the Dutchman who, alongside his agents, landed in London this week ahead of getting his work underway at Old Trafford. Ten Hag will attend his first United match in person as he watches them take on Crystal Palace on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday. Ten Hag has already discussed the future of Ronaldo, who is about to enter the final year of his Old Trafford contract and it is thought that he will remain at the club until the summer of 2023. The Portuguese superstar is set to enjoy a prominent role in Ten Hag's first season as he looks to overhaul the club's dressing room.

Gabriel Jesus breaks silence on summer transfer after Arsenal open talks with Man City

Image
Gabriel Jesus has already told Manchester City 'what he wants' as he continues to be linked with a move to Arsenal. The Gunners have been in contact with Pep Guardiola's side over a potential deal for the Brazilian with City slapping a £55million price tag on the striker, according to ESPN. It's claimed the north Londoners feel that price is too steep, however, as they could feasibly sign him as a free agent in 12 months' time with his contract expiring in the summer of 2023. Jesus is a player that Mikel Arteta is a huge admirer of following their spell working together at the Etihad. It has been widely reported that City are looking to cash in on Jesus given the fact his contract is winding down, coupled with the signing of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund. Jesus is said to be keen on a switch to the Emirates as his agent Marcelo Pettinati confirmed that he likes Mikel Arteta's project. The attacker is assessing his options due to his limited game-time thi

Kylian Mbappe Explains Why He Changed His Mind About Leaving Paris Saint-Germain

Image
Kylian Mbappe has explained why he made a shock u-turn to remain at Paris Saint-Germain. The French superstar looked nailed on to leave PSG this summer, with his contract due to expire at the Parc des Frances. Mbappe was reportedly on the verge of signing for Real Madrid on a free transfer. However, the World Cup winner had a change of heart and signed a three-year contract on Saturday – the same day as when he hit a hat-trick against Metz. Mbappe is in line to earn a ridiculous wage of €100 million per year, while there’s talk that his new deal gives him a say in the next manager, and will see him assume captain and penalty duties. On Monday, PSG held a press conference with Mbappe, who opened up on changing his mind. “Everybody knows I wanted to leave last year, and I was convinced that would be the best decision at that time,” Mbappe told media

Declan Rice signs, Josko Gvardiol deal - Chelsea's ideal first Todd Boehly transfer window

Image
It's difficult to remember a summer transfer window that felt so enormous for Chelsea Football Club. Todd Boehly's consortium are expected to be announced officially as the club's new ownership group in the near future, and they are set to have a huge job on their hands very early on in their tenure at Stamford Bridge. The 2021/22 season has now reached its climax. It felt like an age, especially in the campaign's second half of the season. 63 matches for the Blues across all competitions, and it's now time for some much-deserved rest for the players, the staff and also the supporters. The last few matches of the season saw an out-of-sorts Chelsea team. The Blues won five of their last ten matches of the season in all competitions as they stumbled across the line to record a third-place finish.

Hugo Ekitike bid of £38m tabled as Chelsea eye the 'next Kylian Mbappe'

Image
The youngster has been heavily linked with a transfer away from Reims this summer, with a number of clubs reportedly interested Chelsea have another monumental summer ahead of them. After a rollercoaster of a season, the Blues will be hoping that their takeover can be concluded as swiftly as possible so attention can turn elsewhere. That somewhere else will, of course, be the upcoming summer transfer window. Thomas Tuchel will be looking to refresh his squad in his image before gearing them up for another lengthy campaign at the helm. Discussing the upcoming challenges, the German coach said: “I don't know where we are from day one. What I can promise is that I will be here - if I can promise that - and I will be here with full energy and positive energy no matter what. “We will still work for Chelsea and I refuse to think of negative scenarios. We will be competitive, on which level we will see.” One area that the Blues could look to strengthen is in the attacking third, where the
